Tieg (pronounced “Teeg”) practices in areas of general negligence and tort litigation, construction defect litigation, and insurance coverage matters. He is admitted to the State Bar of Montana and the U.S. District Court for the District of Montana. Tieg is passionate about providing open and clear communication to his clients with a focus on collaboration to achieve results for his clients.
Tieg was born in Wolf Point, Montana, before moving to North Dakota with his family, where he would remain until graduating from the University of North Dakota with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. Tieg returned to what he considers his home state of Montana in 2019, living in Red Lodge, Montana, where he took in the beautiful natural scenery, trails, and hills while preparing to enter law school. Tieg then attended the University of Montana Law School, where he competed on the National Moot Court team, volunteered at Montana Legal Services Association, and participated in several student organizations. Before joining Bohyer, Erickson, Beaudette & Tranel, Tieg clerked for the Honorable Judge Thomas Pardy in the Thirteenth Judicial District of Montana, where he gained invaluable insight into legal argumentation and the court’s mechanisms, which he now applies in his practice.
In his free time, Tieg enjoys hiking with his dog, creating ceramics, camping, fishing, and attending the various local events that Missoula has to offer.
