Jeannette Asbury – Paralegal
Jeannette Asbury has worked in the legal field for over 30 years, primarily in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, personal injury defense, trucking industry litigation, insurance coverage, complex commercial and construction defendant litigation. She has trial experience in Montana’s federal and state courts.
Prior to moving to Montana with her husband in 2004, Ms. Asbury worked with a senior partner at Bullivant Houser Baily, PC in Portland, Oregon in that firm’s construction defense and professional liability departments. Ms. Asbury is a past president of both the local chapter of NALS, NALS of Portland and the state chapter, NALS of Oregon. She obtained her PLS certification in 2001 and her PP certification in 2004. Ms. Asbury is a graduate of the legal assistant program at Everest College in Portland and a current member of MALA.
Outside of work, Ms. Asbury enjoys running half marathons and is aiming to run her 21st half marathon in 2021. Ms. Asbury and her husband are members and supporters of the Bitterroot Trail Preservation Alliance and enjoy spoiling their rescued Rottweilers.
