BEBT wins motion for summary judgment in construction defect case

BEBT Partner Katie Guffin, representing a subcontractor in a construction defect case, prevailed on a motion for summary judgment.  The Montana District Court found that the subcontractor’s work was outside the scope of the Plaintiff’s claims, that the subcontractor had no contractual obligation to defend or indemnify the general contractor, and accordingly dismissed the subcontractor from the case.
