BEBT attorney wins motion for summary judgment in insurance coverage action

BEBT attorney Brandon Shannon prevailed on a dispositive motion in an insurance coverage lawsuit. On behalf of the insurer, BEBT filed a lawsuit seeking a declaratory judgment that there was no duty to defend or indemnify an insured who was alleged to have engaged in a conspiracy to take over a multi-million dollar hydraulic fracking business. The United States District Court for the District of Montana granted BEBT’s Motion to for Summary Judgement, finding there was no coverage.
